History of the Knox City UMC

The Methodist Episcopal Church at Knox City was one of the first organizations in Knox City, having been formed in 1867. It has been part of the Edina charge from the first. In 1889, under the pastorate of Rev. Henry Crampton, the present building was built and dedication followed the next spring.
